About me

Sound Designer / Sound Editor / Dubbing Mixer

It has always been my dream to be part of a team of people working together towards one goal – creating a film.

My journey that led me to this point has been both long and entangled.

My passion for both film and sound started very early and always went hand in hand. I went to primary and secondary music school followed by my MA in Film Studies, in Kraków, Poland.

It was at the end of my MA that I have decided to move to London, but I did not abandon the idea of working in film. I decided to marry my passion for film together with my earlier musical education – I went onto a Sound Engineering course, followed by a BA in Sound Arts and Design.

After years of studying, having some experience of working as a sound engineer, being exposed to sound art, and working on films in various roles within sound departments I have come to conclusion that the latter is what I really want to do in my life. Having 12 years of classical musical education, graduating from City and Guilds 1820 course in Sound Engineering Part 1 & 2 and a BA in Sound Arts and Design prepares me to look at sound design in depth and from various angles. My MA in films studies gave me analytical approach to film and storytelling. Theoretical and practical studies complement each other and make me a better sound designer.

At present I’m doing just that – sound design – studying MA in Sound Design for Film and TV at The National film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK.
